Things that Broke this Week ( TBW Issue #2)
Ruh-Roh. A second issue of TBW. That's not good.
Here's what we have:
- I added child proof locks on some drawers and doors to prevent what happened last week (break prevention - it counts)
- An RV rookie ran into my awning as he was driving by in the Cedar Pass Campground Tuesday morning. It's was pouring down rain, I didn't really want to get out. I took a peak and it looked fine so I told the guy it was OK.

It's hard to see in this image, but that arm is tweaked forward (right) and will not close properly. Later that day when I went to reel it in, I saw the the armatures had been pulled and bent forward so that it now will not close properly against the side of the RV. I was able to tug and pull on it in the opposite direction and straighten some of it out. It works "OK" now. A little more adjustment will be needed. A couple of days later in a new RV park I was parked so that the awning opened right next to a pine tree without touching it. Unforturnately, when I raised the leveling jacks to lower the coach it learched forward and rammed the awning into that tree. Fortunately it was rammed in the opposite direction of the dude that hit it and now I think it is aligned again! :-)
- Smashed my finger in my new fangled telescoping ladder which I was using to fix my awning! ( My finger wasn't broken, but I cried like it was)!

- Lost a cotter pin from my tow-bar which could have been disastrous. Would hate to lose the jeep on the freeway. The linchpin had worked itself about half way out.
A thoughtful citizen at the gas pump next to me noticed one tow-bar arm about to fall off and let me know... whew! - I broke an AC vent in the bedroom trying to adjust its direction of air flow. I guess I pushed too hard and popped it out, up into the air duct system. I didn't lose it. I think I can pop it back in by hand...
- I was on the roof checking up and noticed my little cell phone booster antenna had fallen off its magnetic mount on to the top of the slide cover. Apparently when I reeled in the slide the antenna rammed a hole in the protective cover. "Honey, where's the duct tape?"

- Stabbed my chin with a screw driver while re-wiring the phone booster and cut my arm somehow(?)
- While doing routine slide maintenance (lubing gears and treating rubber gaskets) I discoverd one slide was damaging a wall where it was not aligned properly - I think I fixed it.
- That light fixture cover fell out and almost hit me again! I think I tightened it better this time.
